Welcome to our new website!

We're excited to launch our new website to tell the fascinating stories of bonobos, the peaceful, generous great apes who, along with chimps, are humans' closest living relatives!

Here's where you can learn about your important role in saving bonobos! Your support makes possible the work of Les Amis des Bonobos du Congo, the Congolese nonprofit that has saved hundreds of orphaned bonobos from the illegal bushmeat trade over the last 25 years. Learn about the Lola ya Bonobo Sanctuary, Ekolo ya Bonobo Community Reserve -- where bonobos are re-wilded -- the educational programs you make possible, and more. Friend of Bonobos-US is a proud partner in this work.

Please explore the site, and make sure to sign up for our email list to stay in touch!
